The `1` patch level is not found for `extra` patch type. Please select valid patch type or patch level

Issue

After I run the kcarectl --update command,

I get the following error:

The `1` patch level is not found for `extra` patch type. Please select valid patch type or patch level

Environment

• CloudLinux OS 7
  

Solution

The extra patches are not available for CloudLinux kernels, please use the following command to switch to default:

kcarectl --set-patch-type default

This should resolve the issues. 

Cause

The extra patches are not available for CloudLinux kernels
