Solution

CVE-2026-23111 affects only the newer Linux kernel branches used by distributions such as AlmaLinux 9 / RHEL 9, AlmaLinux / RHEL 10, and others.

The kernels shipped with AlmaLinux 8 and CentOS 7 are based on earlier kernel versions that do not contain the vulnerable code, so they are not affected by this CVE. That's why no patch is listed for them on patches.kernelcare.com.
